Need help connecting to beachnet+ with your laptop or smartphone?

Beachnet+ keeps disconnecting?

Try changing your password at https://beachid.csulb.edu and update all devices using that password

Beachnet+ low wifi signal strength?

Try a different location. But we did notice that sometimes changing your password helps some people.

Cannot connect to beachnet+ after a few wrong password tries?

Account might be locked or Device might be blacklisted. Call Technology Help desk (562) 985-4959 to check if device has been blacklisted. Or you can also delete any saved credentials on your device and try again in 4 hours.

Game consoles, smart devices connect to this network after you register your device at http://housing.csulb.edu/device
Guest can use the wifi when using beachnet-guest-access

Game Console

Some games use P2P(Peer-to-Peer) for voice chat. In compliance of the campus network standard, P2P protocols are blocked. Housing & Residential Life does not have the ability and authority to open ports or change any NAT configurations.
